Ranking method

How the cuisine ranking works

The score combines an editorial baseline with reader voting. This avoids a brand-new cuisine with one vote immediately outranking a cuisine with a deeper recipe collection, while still letting readers shape the table.

1. Only live cuisines appear A cuisine must be active and have at least one active recipe.
2. Recipe depth matters Cuisines with more live recipe coverage get a small baseline boost.
3. Reader votes count Up/down votes are Wilson-adjusted and weighted more as votes grow.
4. One browser, one saved vote per cuisine Users can change their vote, but duplicate votes are controlled.
