  • 175g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 85g butter
  • 140g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • For sauce: butter, cream, brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Soften dates in hot water with baking soda.
  2. Make sponge batter, bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
