  • 4 eggs
  • 300g sausage meat
  • Breadcrumbs

Description

The Scotch egg is a picnic staple, combining a crispy coating with a soft centre and savoury filling.

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs for 6 minutes, cool and peel.
  2. Wrap each in sausage meat.
  3. Roll in flour, dip in beaten egg, coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Deep fry until golden and cooked through.
