Description
Pörkölt is a slow-cooked stew made with beef, pork, or lamb, onion, paprika, and little else — showcasing the depth of Hungarian flavours.
Instructions
- Fry onions until golden, add garlic and paprika.
- Add meat and brown all sides.
- Add water and simmer for 1.5–2 hours until tender. Serve with dumplings or noodles.
